I Am Redemption was born from lived experience—out of moments that could have ended everything, but instead became the beginning of something more.
This foundation exists to amplify stories of redemption, support individuals facing addiction and life-altering challenges, and create community for those navigating recovery, healing, and second chances.
Because sometimes all it takes is a minute to change a life.
meet OUR FOUNDER Shawn Livingston
Shawn Livingston is a combat veteran whose journey took him from serving his country, to injury, to heroin addiction—and ultimately to recovery.
His story is documented in 100 Miles to Redemption, a raw and unfiltered look at what it means to fall completely and choose to rise anyway.
Sobriety didn’t just save Shawn’s life—it reshaped it.
Today, Shawn lives with discipline, purpose, and intention. He pushes his limits as an ultra runner, trains relentlessly in the gym, and channels the same mental resilience that carried him through recovery into everything he does.
But his greatest work isn’t physical.
It’s service.
FROM SURVIVAL TO SERVICE
Shawn founded I Am Redemption to create the space he once needed—where stories are heard, struggles are honored, and no one walks alone.
Through the I Am Redemption podcast, live events, speaking engagements, and community outreach, Shawn uses his voice to elevate others. The goal has never been fame or recognition—it has always been connection.
Every story shared is proof that redemption is real.
Every conversation creates another chance for someone to choose hope.

I Am Redemption is not about one person’s journey—it’s about what happens when stories become catalysts for change.
Through donor support, community participation, and shared experiences, this foundation continues to grow its impact—one story, one event, and one minute at a time.
